Mini holiday time! It was finally G's last day at the NHS today, hurray! He now has three weeks off before he starts his new teaching role, and we coincided the last day with a trip to Wales for the weekend. Despite me knocking off work early, the drive still took six hours, and we eventually rolled up to Clare's about 8.30pm. We had a lovely evening sitting round the kitchen bench eating, drinking (lots and lots of drinking), and catching up. Clare interviewed G about his work experiences for her new project, and we eventually turned in about 4am. I haven't pulled one as late as that in ages!
