Interesting people, then I fell into a hole. Help!

These two (brother and sister Joe and Rose from Cornwall) are walking and riding from John o groats to Lands End to raise money for Shelter Box a charity who send desperatly needed aid into war zones. Only 19 and 20 they are very impressive people. They met someone sitting in his garden at Lochernhead who told them about us and we put them up for a couple of nights. Note the Dog

Meanwhile shortly after this I fell in a hole in a wood and soaked the camera which now has no display although it seems to be working otherwise. I suspect there is still dampness inside. Any suggestions or is it a write off. Its a wee Canon Powershot
