Beachcombing . . .

After the wind and rain yesterday and overnight I thought I'd see what the sea had washed up on the beach below the cliffs. Some interesting bits of ironmongery have been uncovered, remains of engines and farm machinery, and a small glass ball, about the size of a pea, a little gem!

Not much left in the house to eat so I spent the morning in the kitchen producing a fruit cake, chorizo and pesto scones, venison casserole and a wholemeal loaf! Mike is busy with the greenhouse framework and replacing the boat windows so he needs to be kept well fed!

Three coachloads of tourists from the visiting cruise liners came down to the shop between 5 and 6pm so two of us opened up specially for them - result 22 Euros! Hey ho!
