Strange Super Globe...
I worked a nonprofit fundraiser at Satori winery today. It was a beautiful day and the NPO raised a lot of money. Their cause is bat education - changing the perceptions of bats in our lives and demystifying all the bad information about bats. A California brown bat can eat up to 1000 mosquitoes an hour. With West Niles Virus being spread by simple mosquito bites, these flying mammals can help reduce the spread of the decease. It's amazing how many folks believe that bats will attack humans and suck their blood.
The winery was getting ready to release a new wine by the name of Zin-Zan. This is an image of the nearly ripe Zinfandel grapes that will be made into this new release. There were a few bottles on hand and I heard it was quite yummy.
Then image title and the crop were to challenge the many "super moon" shots that will appear on the blipfoto site tonight.
Happy Blippin' Blippers!
