Begonia

This is one of the 5 tuberous begonias that I have. I've always loved the flowers and a few years ago, the woman at the nursery where I bought a hanging pot of them, told me how to keep them from year to year - once the frost has killed the top, I just put the pot in the basement and leave it alone until spring. When it just starts to peep out of the ground, we bring them outside and start watering them. Since then I have gotten all the others - a variety of colors. And so far, they all come back full steam each year.

Beautiful day, slight breeze, but warm. Spent it doing laundry, dishes, walking the dog, and I made a tasty beef vegetable soup for dinner.
