The Supermoon

Ex Hurricane Big Bertha hit Slough just as I was making my final decision as to which colour I should pick for my new bike. I'm really looking forward to being a cyclist again after nearly three years. More fun times with Thomas and Alexander. Thomas took me on a tour of La Tasca and around the station shops this afternoon. Alexander seemed to prefer the jewellery stall. Anyway. I got my spotting scope back yesterday which has been on loan and have discovered it fits well on my new sky tracker mount which effectively means I have a very portable equatorial mount that I hadn't expected. This photo was taken by holding my phone to the eyepiece. All in all a great weekend. :-)
