A blustery day

Today saw the tail end of hurricane Bertha soaking the country, so it was a cosy day indoors for us.
Mommy and Jess sat in the conservatory looking at the rain and listening to it on the roof. Jessica had a little snuggle and fell asleep.
Then Aunty Katy came round and gave Jessica her bottle, she got some great burps out of her. Mommy and Daddy were quite amazed at the calm feed and easy winding, so we took some notes.
Then we went round to Uncle Roger and Aunty Janes for our tea, mmmm. Jessie got more cuddles, from Phillipa, Jane and Nanna. You could tell Uncle Rog wanted to get in on the act, but she was in high demand today, there's only so much milk she can dribble on everyone's clothes! Aunty flipper was a big hit, she did lots of walking round hugging, let Jessie sick in her lap, eat her fingers and she had lovely shiny hoops in her ears for pulling.
She met Andrew for the first time, he got stared at a lot, but then so did everyone. You could see her little eyes taking everyone's face in, before she moved on to the next.
A little bit later to bed, but very happy and chatty for a tired bit.
