Shapes and Shadows - Fairy Tale

Shapes and Shadows in chandler63's August Challenge.

In Cardiff for the weekend, showing youngest daughter around. Ironically she is the one with the least connection with Wales (2 daughters born here, son conceived here, but I was made redundant while he was still a bump), but Cardiff is her first choice for university.

Just on the outskirts of Cardiff is Castell Coch (The Red Castle). Built on the foundations of a 13th century ruin in 1875 it is a fairy tale shaped castle, which has been featured in many films. So a fairly loose connection to the theme, but it is fairy tale castle shaped, and has shadows!
