Daddy built Matthew an excellent den in the corner of the dining room with a blanket and a playmat draped across the end of the table and chairs - Matthew played in it happily for some time - and we had quite a lot of toys to fish out at tea time! More playing out with waterproofs and puddles this afternoon - though we missed the torrential rain this time. He really does like to explore - none of the other toddlers on our street (and there are several) seem to spend as much time exploring the road and its greens. Maybe they have bigger gardens or gates so they can't get out :)
