Old Bertha......

My favourite tea cabin on the beach, along with many others, had been prepared for Old Bertha hitting our shores. It didn't really happen apart from some very blustery conditions! We had a lovely walk all along the prom right down to the Oasis Cafe in our shorts and t-shirts in the sunshine. There were a few clouds along the way but the wind was strong enough to keep blowing them away. Luckily we had had all our rain in the night. Nonetheless it was nice to know that our favourite watering holes would have been protected if necessary.
