Walk round Buttermere

We decided to go to Buttermere today. It was a lovely drive and we were in no rush so we stopped at a lovely farmhouse which was not just stables but also a lovely restaurant , for a cappuccino and latte and abit of tiffin for david which I pinched the strawberry from lol. We met really nice,friendly German couple there who had been touring on their motorbike up in Scotland and were just slowly heading back home, from there we headed to Buttermere and it was so busy that it was hard to find a parking space. Once car was parked we headed off for a walk around stopping to take pictures and also for an ice cream which was made at the farm. Buttermere water really lovely , families were having fun, kids and grandparents were paddling whist some dogs were jumping in to cool off. The sun kept flitting in and out of the passing clouds which made the surrounding hills come alive .
