Flowers and rain

Where's summer gone? Apparently we are experiencing the tail end of Hurricane Bertha, which means that most of the UK has been experiencing a lot of rain. Looks like Glasgow got off lightly compared to some areas.

We have been out today, lunch in town to celebrate Grannie's birthday. I didn't think the birthday girl would like to be featured as my blip of the day, so I ventured out into the garden to get a picture of some wet flowers instead.
