Bertha breaks the peace

The remnants of Hurricane Bertha struck at 7am this morning with a thunder clap which sounded more like a bomb going off. The peace was well and truly broken! More thunder, heavy rain and blustery winds for the rest of the day.

This change in weather played havoc with my sinuses and I was laid up in bed for most of the morning, but luckily recovered by lunchtime.

Yep the peace was well and truly broken, oh well it was good while it lasted hey?
