Keller
Visited Oma Gerti this afternoon in Treuchtlingen, a 1 hour drive away, and in Franken (Franconia).
Franken
She invited us to a popular local Keller for lunch. Franconia has its own culture and dialect. In the rest of Bavaria a Keller is a Biergarten.

Very good it was too. I had a local speciality - Schäufele. That's shoulder of roast pork served on the bone, with sauerkraut. Delicious. I did get told off for not chewing on the bone, but that may have been local humour.
Schäufele
One of the highlights was Oma Gerti losing a bit of her lunch down inside the front of her dress, and her attempts to retrieve it while remaining (semi) dignified.
Glad to be a man sometimes.
The Blip is the Keller. Popular on a Sunday afternoon in 28° heat.
