Welding

Putting a module on top of a jacket is not enough, you have to secure it by means of welding. Welding is nothing else than to short circuit a steel rod so it will both melt the materials and the rod you touched with your welding rod. If this material appears to be a jacket and a module leg of inches and inched thick steel, the heat you present with your five millimeter welding rod doesn't impress them too much. So you have to pre-heat them before you can weld them. Even if the outside temperature is around thirty degrees centigrade, the welders build themselve tents around the legs, preventing the heat to escape. Can you imagine the temperature insides these tents? You guessed it right; after the welding is completed, you also have to cool the legs down in a controlled way.
