Wet Weather Stations

A three year old grandson rattling around the house in the wet weather today necessitated a visit to the Jurby Transport Museum.

Surprisingly I had not been before and it is quite a little gold mine.

San Francisco may have cable cars but there again so did Douglas. This was between the years 1896 and 1929.

Only two cable cars survive, they were numbered 72 and 73.

Rather surprisingly they had survived because they had jointly been incorporated in to a dwelling in rural Jurby.

Rather like George Clark's amazing small spaces....
