Memories

Had a day at home and we took the chance to sort out our memories box to make more room. It's one of those jobs that should take half an hour but then you start looking at photos, letters, theatre tickets, school reports, etc. and before you know it two hours have gone by.

We are particularly fond of our memories box as my dad made it as a Christmas present, he made a beautiful job, all made from wood, with metal reinforced edges, chains to keep the lid upright, lock & key and lined in green baize. We then covered it with decorative paper and blue braid to make it look 'homely'.

More space now for mementos of special things still to come!
