Happy times with the family

Total weather contrast from yesterday.thanks to tropical storm Bertha, Broadstairs folk Festival appeared to be deserted but wandering around, the sounds of fiddles and banjos drifted out of pubs and shelters.
Thankfully the rain cleared and the sun came back to transform the scene. We headed to the pier to listen to sea shanties, very atmospheric with the waves crashing behind.
I loved the name of this little boat which seemed perfect for a lovely weekend with the family.
