ROOM TO READ

This wonderful building is near to the village of Appleton-le-Moor in North Yorkshire, UK.
Still used today, it even has a coal fire . . . it can be a bit chilly ! Hope the roof is good as the rain has poured since this photo.

The building is a Reading Room. Once upon a time many villages in England would have one as a meeting place and an early form of public library.
