The Little Visitor

A stray cat who stops by for a meal we call him Whiskers. He wants to be nice but will hiss at you. You have to pet very softly and gentle and no sudden movements or else he will get scared. My son is the only one he will sit on his lap for a few minutes. He purrs and butts his head against you to but quickly hisses and can scratch you. We still love him must of been traumatized. I know with time and TLC he could be tamed but we have Mr Wiggles & Babyface so we visit and leave garage door open for him during the day where he is free to get water and kibbles and we sneak him a can food. He's so tiny we thought he was a kitten but we heard he is 4 yrs. old and was left behind, another neighbor is kind to him but she has 3 dogs and one dog even got a hold of him in which I feel he got a little damaged and is maybe why he is skittish Jeckel & Hyde. He is with us a lot which we don't want but we do what we can for him. It was hard enough getting to keep Mr Wiggles & Babyface.
Why do we always get chosen us with little means at the moment? We must have a sign that says go to our house if your a stray cat.
