GAP IN THE WALL

We decided to have a bit of a rest today and had a drive to Glenridding. Weemo got a pair of walking shoes in the outdoor shop and we stopped for a coffee. We walked through the grounds of the Glenridding hotel and took some pictures down at the waters edge. We returned to the B&B via Pooley Bridge stopping at Keswick for some snacks. I had a coffee and a sandwich at the B&B before heading back out to Sale Fell to take a picture through the gap in a wall overlooking the valley between Cockermouth and Dubwath. You can just about see Lake Bassenthwaite on the right. I had a chat to Ruth who was out hillwalking. She was asking about my photography and knew about Blipfoto through a friend called Earthdreamer. Isn't it a small world!
