Whitby

When the summer sun is out there's not many more traditional things to do than visit a seaside town.

Whitby on the Yorkshire coast is a bustling place with day visitors as well as with locals who gain from the visitors at the harbour and quayside with boat trips and stalls selling the usual seaside food and tack.

As with many seaside places on a warm summers day the place does get incredibly busy which can slightly dampen your visit with car park spaces quickly being taken up although they have worked on this by using playing fields as overflow car parks.

Perfect scenario is to find yourself a seat on the harbour side or pier, sit back, relax and watch the world go by.
