Shirakawago houses

Today was our last day in Takayama, we had already seen the town and decided for a full day tour to nearby Unesco villages Ainokura and Shirakawago. Unfortunately another super typhoon called Halong struck Japan and we had a very windy day with heavy raining. We were both soaking wet and had to persuade ourselves to press the trigger but we did and quite often. Now we are drying our stuff before leaving for Nara tomorrow.
