Goldfinch

The Goldfinch's are back.

For a long time I have put out niger Seeds for the goldfinches and they never eat it as they seem to prefer the sunflower seeds hearts. So about a month ago I stopped putting out the niger seed and I began to realise the goldfinches had stopped coming, about 4 days ago I put some niger seed out and today they have returned, not to eat the niger seed but the sunflower hearts, all I can thing of is they must be able to smell the niger seed.
