O' the Grand Old Duke of York!
Beautiful sunny day in Suffolk today, walked to nursery for the first time this year, i'd forgotten how hard it is pushing the double buggy up Drybridge Hill, interesting fact about the hill, one of Woodbridge's few claims to fame - Drybridge Hill is in fact the very hill that the Grand Old Duke of York marched his 10,000 men up to the top off. Little bit of local trivia for you there. Naturally Louis, Holly and I sing the nursery rhyme every time we climb the hill and this morning I was so puffed out climbing it I had to stop and catch my breath between every line, not good!
Took Holly to the playground first thing forgetting that despite the sun there had been a frost and so everything was wet. We managed to dry off a swing with my scarf and she had a lovely time while I snapped away.
Hoping for a game of tennis tonight with M after he came home with 1kg of Dairy Milk last night, we did share it but still I think I will need to play for rather along time to burn that off!
