Remembrance at the Tower of London

Tonight I saw day one if the evolving installation Bloodswept Lands and Seas of Red at the Tower of London. It marks the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War and has been Created by ceramic artist Paul Cummins, with setting by stage designer Tom Piper. Between now and November 888,246 ceramic poppies will progressively fill the Tower’s famous moat. It looks absolutely amazing already, so will be even more poignant when it is finished.
