Brittany and Kelly

Jon and I had breakfast today with B and K. They were friends of Sumner's during middle school years - Brittany went to school with Sumner and later Kelly. Kelly and Sum played in summer basketball (AAU) together for two years. They both wanted to share memories and feelings about Sumner and so asked if we could meet up. Brittany is an Emergency Medical Technician, riding in ambulances saving people's lives daily. She is about to start training for firefighting as well. She's about 5' tall, but she is determined and strong. Kelly is 6'4", she was an amazing basketball player and played through 5 years of college and is now thinking about opening a day care center for children. I am grateful that they keep in touch through text messages and Facebook mostly, but also an occasional visit.
