Volunteer victims treated in Exercise

As part of the ESS (Emergency Support Services) here on Salt Spring I was asked to photograph this Multi Agency Training exercise. We had 81 first responders turn out, from seven different disciplines - RCMP, Fire Fighters, SARs (Search & Rescue), Coast Guard (Marine Search & Rescue), BC Ambulance/Paramedics, Lady Minto Hospital and ESS as well as an overseer from the Armed Forces.
The scenario was this a small passenger plane breaks up over water and crashes onshore in a field where children are playing.
It was amazing to see everyone at work - so professional - even the victims.
