And the winner is....

Nelson!

Met the family that had stayed over night at the hotel for breakfast this morning, after which we said our cheerios and headed off home.

My brother left with mum and her partner first, we were about half an hour behind them. Had a cuppa at mums, then decided to visit the farm. All quiet there this week as Mary, Alex and their parents are visiting their Irish Grandaddy.

Mary ( aided by mummy) had phoned grandma Jean to tell her, very excitedly, that they had been to the zoo and seen monkeys! When grandma asked " where are you now? " Mary replied, " I'm here grandma!"

Had cake and coffee.

Meanwhile, Emma was attaching the horsebox to her car and loading up Nelson to go off to a local show. We followed on and spent a relaxing afternoon watching the show jumping. Grandma Jean arrived a bit later with doughnuts, eaten just in time to photograph and video Emma and Nelson's winning rounds!

They were in 2 classes, winning the first and coming third in the second one.

Back home, we showed the videos to Grandad Graham, who had been busy unloading and stacking a load of straw bales, ready for bedding down the cows in the winter, whilst we were at the show. Of course we had cake and coffee too!

Last port of call was to visit friends, where we caught up on each others news over a chinese takeaway.

Back at mums now, blipping, having a cuppa ( no cake!) and then going to bed. I just know I'm going to sleep well tonight!

Thank you for the lovely comments on Mollie yesterday. My cousin loved the picture and there were a few tears!
