Runty returns

I have had a lot of pleasure observing a family of ducks in my garden this summer. We have a very high mortality rate from various causes and this family of 8 was special!. The littlest one I called Runty and he was a real character. However about id January he didn't come for food with the others so I feared the worst. However when I arrived home from work tonight, there he was. Not a brilliant photo really but I needed to celebrate his return.
