Reykjavik Pride

After having rain on the parade so to speak the last two years, this year the weather for the annual Gay Pride Parade in Reykjavik, was perfect. Which resulted in a large number of spectators, probably over 100 000. There was interesting floats, and interesting people. The new mayor did not dress in drag like the previous one, but he did march with other City of Reykjavik people. The American embassy, as well as the Canadians were there, as was a contingent of Scouts. And afterwards we all enjoyed the free concert.
