Queen Elizabeth's Orbs

Clare and I explored the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park this afternoon - the site of the 2012 Olympics.

It's great to see the site getting new life. The Olympic Stadium is currently a building site as it gets ready to welcome West Ham United next year. The park itself is full of interesting walks and impressive arrays of wild flowers. We were able to go inside the Velodrome and watch club cyclists training.

A good day. These orbs hang intriguingly over one of the main walkways.
