Gathering of Clan Kincaid

We had a surprise international visitor to our information stall this morning in Dunblane for our Save the Greenbelt campaign.

Karen Davis, commissioner for Clan Kincaird from Arizona is staying in Dunblane in preparation for the gathering of the clan later this month.

We explained our campaign and she immediately recognized the scenario.
"We have exactly the same problem in America. Its all about money- they are not interested in heritage or protecting the environment."

Again we found unaninous support for our No housing on Park of Keir campaign. In fact there was quite a party atmosphere in the High St because the "Yes" campaign for Scotland had a stand next ot us and we met folk who were in the original campaign over twenty years ago!
it was great to meet up with them all again.
