Homecoming

An event was held in the centre of Inverurie this afternoon, to celebrate the success of two local athletes in the recent Commonwealth Games.

Here we see First Minister (and local constituency MSP) Alex Salmond congratulating Inverurie swimmer Hannah Miley, who won a gold medal in the 400m individual medley and a bronze in the 200m individual medley, and Oldmeldrum wrestler Wrestler Viorel Etko, who won a bronze in the 61kg freestyle category.
