There is something about distraction I cannot wrap my mind around. It is constant, and that is as I know it personally; it is constant. No matter the strict plans I have set in my mind to assist me in finishing my personal projects, I never seem to. Winter adds to this theme of consistent aberration with a numb consciousness.
There is nothing like winter to aid in the passing feelings different seasons bring and leave with me to erase my sense of things. The cool quiet that overwhelms the woods seems to lock itself in my body too, until I am a cave, and winter is the tape over my mouth.
Nevertheless, sometimes the sentiment of winter is taken away by the smallest of crevices allowing sunlight to shimmer through, illuminating a path for a quiet minute of actual noise.
