Freebie

So we went out to George Square for drinks and noodles in the rain, then the Pleasance where we picked up free tickets to some stand up. Someone had scrimped on publicity and didn't have any good reviews. We were part of a crowd of 12 for someone who is a regular on the Jimmy Fallon show. He was making the best of it. Story of my last year.

Show was pretty funny but as always with comedy, a bigger crowd would have been better. Worth an hour of our time for free though. Stopped the ranting about the squeezed middle if nothing else.

Later to Summerhall and then home. Long day. Emails would not stop.
