A very quick blip today ( in fact this is a back blip!)

I have been driving down to South Shore a bit this week as we have two of our job sites down there at the moment, and I have been quite saddened at how much the EQs have changed the estuary side of that area. A lot of houses red-zoned and demolished, and it seems very quiet and desolate .

I used to walk a lot around the walking track that went through the pine trees that have now been felled , along the estuary edge , and when I was down here today with the freezing wind coming of the water there was just me, Banjo and a few Seagulls where as it used to be a busy reserve area.

The view back across the estuary shows the houses on Mt Pleasant and our valley , Heathcote tucked away.. and further up the hills to Castle Rock.
