Riverside Dwellings

Floating down the river that leads into the Tonle Sap lake you will see people living in floating houses and get a remarkable glimpse into their world as you pass by.

Today I was offered a dead silk worm. I'd say it tasted like chicken, but that would be a lie.

The river seems busy with traffic, people fetching their groceries or transporting produce they'd grown. There was also a house move being undertaken which involved a boat pulling a floating house down the middle of the river. A lot simpler than a UK house move for sure.
