Tree Flowers ...
...* on West 97th Street, in the morning opposite our apartment building. I was on the way to getting the New York Times. Bits of the apartment building opposite are visible, which make the urban environment clear.
Around noon we headed back to Northampton, encountering a fair amount of Friday and summer traffic on the way. The weather is pleasant--sunny but not too hot and (above all) not too humid.
*An ID for the flowers would be appreciated :) My emailing naturalist suggests black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia)
