Making a stand
Salt Spring is blessed with numerous farm stands. This is one we visited today. We got eggs while admiring their chooks. They look to be enjoying themselves. After this, and just a few metres away, we stopped for blueberries. We bought a large box supposedly for freezing but I think we will eat them fresh as they're so delicious.
The garden has taken a back seat today, though I did buy some tools. I am a great believer in having the right tool for the job. A new lopper as mine is no longer cutting cleanly. I also got an extractigator which I will use on scotch broom and other plants we are trying to clear. I am told that broom is best removed in bloom but I may remove some now as we have so much.
