Cocktails & catchup

Good blipping requires a computer and internet, recently I had no computer, now I have no internet!! Frustrated that I've been out taking photos but now can't blip them from my camera. Hopefully when my husband gets back tomorrow he can fix the internet problem since I am not very good with that sort of thing! For now I am afraid I have no choice but to blip from my mobile phone :(

Today I was at work. I have 4 new junior colleagues to help train and they're all really friendly. It was sunny today so we all went and ate lunch together outside and then had ice-lollies for dessert. It's lovely when you get to work together with nice people. I am working from 9am tomorrow until Monday so I wanted to make the most of my Friday evening off work. My friend & I went to "As you like it" in Jesmond for dinner, drinks and a catchup. They have a great cocktail menu and I indulged in a mojito. As it was before 7pm it's happy hour and the barmaid flips a coin and you call which side u think it will be and if you win then your drink is half price. I won both times so enjoyed 2 cocktails for £2.50 each- lucky me! The food was lovely (especially the Eton mess I had for dessert) and it was great to see my friend but since we're both working tomorrow we had an early night and said our goodbyes at 9.30pm (just as other people were starting to arrive!)
