Foody Friday.....

It was a great idea to walk to the local pub tonight for dinner to 'The Merry Harriers' a 16th century pub in the beautiful village of Hambledon in Surrey, run brilliantly by Colin and Julie. The light was gorgeous as we walked through the woods and across the fields, the corn was ready to be harvested and the village church made a fantastic scene (for another time). Foody Friday -------- a delicious meal was waiting for us - we started with a Vegetarian Sharing Platter with Artichoke Hearts, Sun blush Tomatoes, Roast Peppers, Olives, Houmous and Homemade Bread, followed by freshly caught Dover sole (well from the market this morning) with a couple of glasses of wine. The idea was to walk back home in twilight to take more photographs of the walk across the corn fields in reverse, however the rain had different ideas.......
