Borkum beach

To, kind of, close the summer holidays we (t.i. my wife, me and 2 sons) went to the island Borkum today. We spent the day on the beach with great weather. Sun, see and sand...the boys had great fun! I'll have to get my camera to the cleaner next week....

Borkum is an island and a municipality in the Leer District in Lower Saxony, northwestern Germany. It is situated east of Rottumeroog and west of Juist.
The island is known for its little beach huts and tents; they are scattered all over the beach; combined with the large pits dug by the Germans.
