Not Just Amsterdam

And I don't mean just like dull as dishwater lager nonsense, proper beer in a pint glass. Think that's what might've tipped it between the giant iMax screen and the small but perfectly formed charms of The Grosvenor cinema down here in Ashton Lane, Glasgow today. Some tasty Williams Brothers on tap for me, and some nice mojitos for the ladies.

It felt a bit of a contrast around the city today after the last few trips during the Commonwealth Games. No real post-euphoria blues but a sense of normality resuming. The emphasis on entertainment's most likely shifted over to the other side of the central belt for the next few weeks, but the kids tossed a coin and chose here for a day trip. And a good day it was too.
