Castle Howard

We had an excellent day out today to Castle Howard. What a lovely place!

Great fun exploring the gardens and having a picnic under a huge tree. Played with the ball for ages before heading to the adventure playground which is one of the best we've been at.

Ice creams and then a ride on the land train back to the courtyard. A quick look in the craft / gift shops and an even quicker look around the garden centre ended our lovely day.

Back to the cottage for dinner and a few more episodes of Breaking Bad once the boys were asleep.
