Epiphany
I think your dental surgeon should be a bit kind when one is on gas, don't you? Not yell at you for not holding the x-ray thingy so very well, nor get ticked off because you can't hear every word he mumbles at you because you have your earphones all the way up to 3...sheesh...
Then, when a patient says "And do I take the rest of my antibiotics?" and he responds "Yes", and the a patient asks "Two a day as I have been doing?" and he says "NO!!! EVERY SIX HOURS LIKE ON THE DIRECTIONS" and you say, "I have them in my purse and they say four one hour prior to procedure".
It is my second root canal in two months, and I think he missed it the first time, or should have put me on antibiotics on the last one and forgot entirely.
He could have said..."Sorry, misprint"...just that much. Not been snotty and just turned on his heel to go.
If one is feeling ticked off after laughing gas, then it is pretty surely there is a reason or two.
But, I did have a really big epiphany amid the gas and the grumpy surgeon...
If there were no rock&roll, the world would have blown up years ago.
Ok, so I am taking it easy now, and feeling a lot better as my new Tony West book arrived today and it is a nice rainy day, perfect for reading.
