Stoke Pound

Today we met our friends Nicola and Stewart at the Queens Head, Stoke Pound for lunch. The restaurant is in Worcestershire not far from Bromsgrove sitting on the bank of the Worcester and Birmingham Canal.

It’s the first time we’ve been there and were very impressed. Lunch was excellent, the beer good and the service fine. There is a large outside area, which includes a large tepee complete with sofas, for sitting with a drink by the canal. (sorry does that sound like a review for TripAdvisor?).

After lunch we went for a walk along the canal bank where I took this picture, with Ann and Nicola up ahead.

In Other News: we had a phone call whilst on the way to the pub informing us that the sale of the flat had completed. One down, two to go (sale and purchase).
