Xativa

We headed to Xativa today. We'd been there before to see the castle a few years ago and had some great tapas.

Today we explored the markets, and everything my wife wanted to buy was €12 for some reason. We explored some of the streets before happening upon an Italian restaurant. As the children had been telling us they were hungry for a little while, it was time to stop!

The Spanish/Italian hybrid menu was interesting and guessing as a combination of words, we ordered things we typically wouldn't order! It certainly makes life and lunch more interesting. Although we understood the dessert menu perfectly!

After lunch we headed out into a town in the midst of its siesta! It was like a ghost town, but we could explore the fountains and the castle in peace. As we went up to the castle last time, today was to stay lower but get photo up of the castle.
