The Green Lochan
We are all up in Carrbridge, near Aviemore for a week's holiday after the busy days of the Commonwealth Games. A visit to this Lochan is always on the agenda when we come up here as it is a beautiful spot - green water due to minerals leaching from the steep scree slopes, sandy shore line and rocks made for scrambling on by energetic boys. Cara and Bruce spent a couple of happy hours here swimming and splashing around in the water fetching sticks thrown in by the boys. The walk continues up the Pass of Ryvoan which I last did along with fellow blipper RedFlash and Mr F a couple of months ago.
