The Port revisited

Returned to Port Glasgow for the funeral of my uncle today. It's barely four months since I took this photograph of him just after my father (his elder brother) died. Not the best day for a photograph despite the sunny weather. A five minute stop on the way home to record my visit with this shot of the Perch lighthouse, built around 1890.

The view past the lighthouse looks towards the Gareloch where the Trident nuclear submarines are based. A different way of dying I suppose.

Goodbye Tom.
